Privacy Policy
Kall in 1 is built for heimish families. We collect only what we need to run the apps, we never sell your information, and there are no ads or third-party trackers.
Who we are
“Kall in 1” (“Kall”, “we”) runs kallin1.com and its apps: Kall Video, Kall Editor, Kall Music, Kall Forum, Kall Local, Kall Tickets, Kall Simcha and Kall Siddur. The Kall Android app opens these same sites, so this policy covers it too.
What we collect
- Your Kall account (if you make one): username, email address and a securely hashed password (we never see or store your actual password). Email is used for sign-in codes and account messages only.
- Things you post: forum topics and replies, Kall Local listings, Kall Tickets events and orders, and Kall Simcha invitations and RSVPs (names and headcounts your guests enter). These are stored so the apps can show them.
- Usage and security data: when you use a Kall app we record which app and page you opened, the time, your IP address, an approximate location derived from it (country, region, city), your device type, operating system and browser, and the page that referred you. We use this to keep Kall working, count usage, and block abuse. It is kept for up to 13 months and then deleted.
- A sign-in cookie (“kall_s”) that keeps you logged in across Kall apps for up to 30 days. We do not use advertising cookies.
What stays on your device
- Kall Editor edits your videos inside your phone or computer. Your videos are not uploaded to us.
- Kall Siddur keeps your nusach, settings, bookmarks and location for zmanim on your device. If you allow location, it is used on your device to calculate zmanim.
- Kall Music and Kall Video keep your settings and favorites on your device.
Payments
Ticket payments in Kall Tickets are processed by Stripe on Stripe’s secure checkout page. Your card number goes to Stripe, not to Kall. We keep a record of the order (event, amount, name and email) so tickets can be issued and checked in.
Who we share with
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use a few service providers only to run Kall: Cloudflare (hosting and security), an email delivery service (to send sign-in codes and account email), and Stripe (ticket payments). Kall Video plays videos from YouTube; when you play one, YouTube’s own terms and privacy policy apply to that video. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Your choices
- You can use most of Kall without an account.
- You can ask us to show you, correct or delete your account and the information connected to it by emailing the address below. We will answer within 30 days.
- You can clear Kall’s data on your device at any time in your browser or Android app settings.
Delete your Kall account
To delete your Kall account and the information connected to it, email [email protected] from the email address on the account, with the subject “Delete my Kall account” and your username. We delete the account, your sign-in sessions and your profile within 30 days and confirm by email. Posts you made in the forum or Kall Local are removed with it. Usage and security records that are not tied to your name are deleted on their normal 13-month schedule.
Children
Kall is a family platform, and content is chosen to be kosher for all ages. Accounts are meant for adults; children should use Kall with a parent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has made an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
All Kall sites use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed, sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes, and repeated wrong passwords lock an account for a short time.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above.
