Kall Forum: a heimish forum for Torah, news, simchas, tech and parnassah
Kall Forum is a kosher, moderated discussion board for the frum community. Channels for Torah, news, simchas, tech and parnassah, Yiddish search, and a sign-in that keeps it a members' room.
Every frum community has the same conversations: which hechsher is on that product, who knows a good plumber in Monsey, what's the halacha when the eruv is down, where to find a job in Lakewood that is off on Yom Tov. Those conversations deserve a kosher room with a door on it. That is Kall Forum.
What makes it a heimish forum
- Channels that fit our life: Torah, News, Simchas, Tech, Parnassah, and more as the community grows.
- Members only. You sign in to read and to post. No anonymous drive-by comments, no strangers scraping the room.
- Moderated. Posts with flagged words are held for a moderator. Topics can be pinned, locked or moved. Rude posts don't survive.
- Yiddish and Hebrew work. Type in any language; search finds it.
- Quote and reply like a proper forum, with profiles that show only what you choose.
How to use it
- Open forum.kallin1.com and sign in with your Kall account (free; the same account works across Kall).
- Pick a channel and read what's live, or tap New topic.
- Give your topic a clear title ("Looking for a sofer in Boro Park" beats "Question").
- Reply, quote, and follow topics you care about from your profile.
Rules of the room
Keep it kosher, keep it kind, no loshon hora, no politics for its own sake, and no selling in the discussion channels (there is a marketplace coming for that). The moderators are community members, not a faceless company.
